In recent years, Tulum has become an incredibly popular vacation destination in Mexico. Just 45 minutes south of Cancun, Tulum is known for its jungle vibe and laid-back atmosphere. The area is made up of mostly small independent resorts, but in 2023 Secrets opened a new property in the region. With all-inclusive amenities and a private beach club, this resort is truly unique for the area. As a destination wedding planner, I’ve visited dozens of all-inclusive resorts in Mexico, and Secrets has always been one of my favorite brands. If you’re looking for an all-inclusive resort for your destination wedding that’s a little off the beaten path, Secrets Tulum is a must-visit. 

Secrets Tulum 

Situated in the heart of historical Tulum, Secrets is the perfect spot for a boho-chic wedding. The resort boasts 300 rooms, all with a private balcony or terrace. The property has a rooftop bar, infinity pool, and Secrets Spa, where you can enjoy a relaxing day of pampering. And for days you want to rest on the beach, you can hop on a shuttle to their exclusive Zamna Beach Club. 

One of the best parts about this resort is its 24-hour dining options that don’t require any reservations. That means you can enjoy a fully flexible vacation without worrying about your dinner plans. And for those who prefer an activity-filled vacation, Secrets offers nightly entertainment and fun adult activities like gourmet cooking classes. 

Destination Wedding Packages 

Something we love about Secrets Tulum is their eight incredible event spaces from which you can choose. They offer locations at the main resort and the beach club, so you can choose a tropical or jungle setting. From the ballroom to terraces and the beach, there are spaces to suit every style and group size. 

The resort offers three different wedding packages that will serve as a base upon which to build your wedding day. The first package, Wedding in Paradise, includes a symbolic ceremony, complimentary room night, bouquet(s) and/or boutonniere(s) for the couple, a wedding cake, and sparkling wine toast. This package includes up to 10 people at a starting rate of $1499. It also comes with fun additional perks like breakfast in bed with mimosas and even free anniversary nights. 

Their next package, the Eternal Love package, includes everything from the Wedding in Paradise package, plus a semi-private rehearsal dinner, hair and makeup, live music, decor, and private cocktail hour and reception. Additionally, couples will receive 50 digital photos, a wedding album, and an edited ceremony video. This package includes up to 20 guests for the base price of $5,000. 

The most luxurious package at Secrets Tulum is the Beyond Memorable package, which starts at $12,000. This package offers everything above, plus an additional 1-hour welcome party, upgraded decor and menu options, and complimentary access to the spa’s hydrotherapy areas for the wedding couple and their parents. 

As always, Secrets offers tons of amazing add-on services for wedding days, but their packages are a great place for couples to start.
