Danielle and Dan’s destination wedding at Hyatt Ziva Cancun was absolutely gorgeous. As a destination wedding planner, I’m fortunate enough to be a part of so many beautiful wedding days, but the photos from this day truly blew me away! I worked with Danielle to find the perfect resort, organize travel, and manage communication with all of her guests. I’m so glad that their big day turned out to be everything they imagined.

I initially met Danielle in a wedding planning Facebook group. Like me, Danielle is a New York native living in North Carolina, so we instantly clicked! Danielle and Dan were initially interested in getting married at Dreams Playa Mujeres but decided to go to Mexico to check out a few resorts in person just to be sure. This is something I highly recommend that all my couples do since it can be so different to see a resort in person versus online! After spending a few days in Mexico checking out all of the amazing resorts, Danielle chose the gorgeous Hyatt Ziva Cancun for their destination wedding.

Dan and Danielle had two main priorities for their destination wedding: a great view and great food. For their ceremony view, they chose a stunning gazebo right on the water. A few palm trees sprinkled the area, and the gazebo was draped with sheer white fabric that blew in the ocean breeze. It’s a truly stunning space and one of the top reasons couples fall in love with Hyatt Ziva Cancun!

The food at Hyatt Ziva Cancun is also exceptional. Danielle is a vegetarian, so it was important to make sure they had a nice variety for her in addition to plenty of great options for meat-eating guests. Hyatt Ziva had lots of options for them, and Danielle and Dan were both so happy with how everything turned out.

Working with Danielle and Dan on their destination wedding was a joy. They knew from the start that they wanted to have a large guest count, which meant lots of people with questions about travel arrangements. My role was to take that off their plate, as well as organize spa appointments, vendors, and contract negotiations.
